Memphis Volleyball: Houston Highlights and Postgame Interview

Check out highlights of Memphis volleyball’s tough conference defeat to Houston on Sunday and a post-game interview with head coach April Jauregui. The University Memphis volleyball team tried to rebound from the Conference USA opening loss on Friday night when the faced Houston on Sunday afternoon. It looked as though the Tigers would do that, taking the first set 25-19 and holding a commanding 21-14 lead in the second set. However, the Cougars came storming back to take the second set 28-26 and the final two sets 25-23 and 25-22.

Memphis Women’s Soccer: UCF Highlights and Postgame Interviews

Memphis Tiger Network’s Caray Oldham recaps the Tigers’ thrilling victory over No. 6 UCF and had a chance to talk to sophomore captain Kylie Davis, freshman Marissa Duguay and head coach Brooks Monaghan. Kylie Davis’ golden goal in the 92nd minute helped Memphis (5-3-0) to it’s first-ever win over a top-10 foe as the Lady Tigers came back to defeat No. 6 UCF (6-2-1) 2-1 on Friday at Mike Rose Soccer Complex. Trailing 1-0 at the half, Memphis tallied the equalizer in the 71st minute before Davis lifted Memphis to the win. Christabel Oduro found free space on the left side and played a swift touch inside the box where Davis slipped past the Knights defense to send the winner to the right post. It was Davis’ fourth goal on the year and Oduro registered her third assist.
